Butlers Marston Autumn Concert

Last sunday Butlers Marston church hosted a classical music performance starring Jessie-Ann Richardson on the cello, David Fletcher on vocals and bass and Butlers Marstons very own Lynn Carter on piano. The Show started at 7pm and finished around 9pm including an interval. It included music from Bach, Schubert, Finzi and Rachmaninov. Each song was sang and played with great emotion mostly anger but occasionaly happiness.
It was mainly targeted at adults and it didn't appeal to my generation. I personally did not enjoy the performance however the adults around the room did and all applauded whilst the performers took a bow.

The Switch

A couple of weeks ago i went to Leamington Spa to watch a film called The Switch, starring Jason Batemen and Jennifer Aniston, directed by Josh Gordon and Will Speck. The romcom film was shot in the USA and released on Wednesday the 1st of September.

Wally Mars (Jason Batemen) and Kassie Larson (Jennifer Aniston) have been bestfriends since they can remember. When Kassie decides she wants a baby she turns to sperm donar Roland (Patrick Wilson).  But after a drunken night Wally swaps Rolands sperm with his own. 7 years later he meets Kassies son, his own psychological double. After putting the pieces together Wally soon remembers what he did, and plucks up the courage to tell Kassie..

I would give this film a 8 out of 10 because it made me laugh and at some points i found it quite emotional. Other people might disagree with me because its either not to their taste or it wasnt targeted to thier age group.
