Casino Royale
Today at college the creative and media students were fortunate enough to experience the casino royale performance, not the james bond film. The show was based on a roulette wheel, painted on to the floor, a spotlight spun the wheel until it landed on a number, each number was a different performance, niether the cast or the audience knew what order the show would go in. Each performance was from different varieties, it was an all singing, all dancing show.
There was a huuuuge variety of characters, some comic such as Mr Bean and the double act, Hansel and Gretel.. there was a group of female dancers who performed a number of parts in the show, such as bollywood and mamma mia. All the Characters played a huge part in the show, dancing and singing every other performance, switching in and out of clothes.. mastering the quick changes and fast speedy paces.
My favourite was the comedy side of the show, specifically mr bean and hansel and gretel, both of these acts made me laugh and were the ones i remembered, however my least favourite ones were the lost in the illusion, this act bored me and didn't keep me satisfied.
